Lol! Yup, Funk 'N' Glow first appeared in the fall 2002 line and featured light-up jackets. A year later they refreshed the line, but kept the same feature. And now this third edition is really entirely separate from the first two o.O Do you have any photos of your Jade? I could let you know whether she's 1st or 2nd edition if you'd like Alex to the rescue!

Thanks guys! I'll have to get myself up to date between the 10 year gap. >.<
I was about 8 years old when I had my Jade, and didn't take any photos. Could probably find a picture of her off of google...but if the 1st and 2nd gens were similar, I doubt I'd be able to find a picture exactly. =/ And now I'm 18 and only use dolls for photos. XD The twists in life.
That Wiki page is super helpful! Lots of info!

The 1st and 2nd dolls were actually pretty different in terms of face and hair. I think she may have a few of the same outfit pieces though. 1st wave had an interesting little mass of twists on top of her head, and 2nd wave had some funky pigtails if that helps

Oh! She had the twists!!! I remember that I tore them all down and she had these kinks in her hair that I could never brush out. XD Ugh... I was so aggressive with my dolls as a kid. >.< I wish I saved some...at least, the ones that weren't completely butchered. Wow, you guys are really the experts. XD You have the Bratz lines down to a T. =) One day, I shall be as caught up as you all are. Haha.

LOL But yeah I think we all were a bit aggressive with our poor dollies as kids... when my dad found another 1st edition Cloe at the thrift store once (This must have been in 2004 or 2005), I shaved half her head, pierced her all over, and scribbled tattoos on her entire body! x) I'll have to find that girlie some day...

My first bratz doll was the Flashback Fever Jade :-) Still have her, but I wish i had her boxed... My dog ate her hand and stuff though... lol. Remember being so excited about getting her. Actually opened her at "BR leker" before even driving home. (a norwegian store by the way). Yup, wish I could turn back time! xD

Hehe. Oh boy, can't wait. XD I will make shopping at second-hand stores easier to ID the bratz dolls. Haha. We all secretly wanted to be stylists as a kid. For some reason, pixie cuts were very popular in a child's mind. =) I really want those new Funk N Glow Bratz (Especially now that I found out that my first Bratz was a Fun N Glow!). I'm just in love and I think with photography and a little photo editing, there could be some really fierce pictures of those dolls. =/ Just can't ever find them in stores.
