I went to Wal-Mart today and JUST happened to end up in the Bratz section (don't you hate it when that happens?). Anyways, I was pretty amazed at the lines that they had all on the shelf, pretty fully-stocked with pretty much EVERYONE.
There were Funk N Glows, Heartbreakers, Neon-Runway, Catz, Featherageous, Trend its, and a few older ones. I was mildly impressed, considering more-times-then-not, there's maybe one or two lines, and they don't have ALL of the girls. They pretty much had all of the girls. Except Funk N Glow... I think they were missing Jade. =/
I got a Funk N Glow Meygan and Neon Runway Yasmin (Really, just because of the leggings. <3 Really excited about them. Wasn't too happy that Meygan's dress is more-so a brick rather than flowey material. But I guess that's how she keeps her "glow". I haven't de-boxed her. I'm debating if I'm going to keep this one as a collectable or take her out for photography purposes.
But I thought I'd share the joy. =D Anyone else have luck finding lines in stores? Or at least, impressed by certain store's stock of Bratz items? More times than not, luck is not on my side with these. So I'm happy. =)

That's so awesome! Congrats on the dollies! All my stores have been sucking so bad lately. We never got heartbreakerz or funk n glow. So annoyed. Plus the stock everywhere is horrendous. It's like one doll here, one doll there. I have no idea what's going on but i'm getting really frustrated.

Aww. =( That's exactly how my stores are around here. Well, until I landed on the Walmart. XD Before it was literally nothing, just the basic line. It must have been their stocking day or something because I NEVER see that much of a selection.
I'm excited about the neon runways. I MIGHT go back to get another one from the line. I wasn't very impressed with the line at first, but my new Yasmin is growing on me. XD Just kind of sad that her ponytail is kind of too heavy for her head, so her head tilts up a bit no matter how I pivot it. =/ Bad for photography, unfortunately. I might boil wash her hair and let it down if it starts getting annoying...

Ooh congratz! Which haircolor Yasmin did you get?  I'd recommend taking the Funk 'n Glow Meygan out, since she includes a display stand ^_^ Plus the holographic features are really cool *_* Can't wait to see your pix! |

It's the same here, the stores have like nothing! We just got in some of the desert jewels, so I will try to get them. They are really expensive to  |

Oh! I got the platinum hair Yasmin with the purple streaks. I actually think I ruined her hair. =/ I was de-boxing her and either her ponytail is too heavy for her head, or I pulled too hard trying to get her to come out (after I was 100% sure that everything was cut free >.<), and her head tilts upwards. Like, I can't tilt her head down, because everytime I do so, it would just go back up. I undid her ponytail, and then made ANOTHER mistake of doing that because the rooted hair is tracked in a way that makes the ponytail look thicker than it actually is. So now I have no idea what I'm going to do. I tied her hair back up in a ponytail, but once again, we have the head-back problem. Ugh. Really cute outfit. I'll post pictures in the Post Pictures Of Your Bratz thread. =D And yea... I did see that. I'm a fan of the stands, gotta say. I MIGHT be going back to pick up another one. It's just too good to resist, really. vixie: I agree. Stores other than walmart that sell Bratz over price them TOO much. Walmart has some pretty reasonable prices if you're buying the Bratz off of the shelf. More times than not I have to order my Bratz online. I don't mind doing so, because in exchange I actually use a lot of the cardboard from the shipping boxes to build set-stuff. So there's a small plus to ordering online. I still think that actually being able to pick out the doll is nice. =) I'm torn between picking up Trend It Yasmin, or getting a Sasha from one of the collections. MAYBE a Catz...since I only had one from the series, and the sunglasses/ears broke. =( |
