Okay, so, I have thought about this for a while but I think I am ready to tell my best friends about dolls. I am very nervous but not sure if I even should. The thought about letting the secret out to them gets me angry and I begin to tear up! :S I just don't know what would exactly happen if I told them! If they don't accept it, I know they aren't true best friends but if something got out about me I would be in some deep *censor*. Dx I just want to be free of it and I wanna stop hiding my stuff when they come over.

Id say go for it! And if they don't except you, then you'll be better off without them anyways. But at least you'll be free to be you, not what people want you to be like. But on the other hand its tough, like whenever I was in sixth grade I was open to my friends, and it was actually considered a cool thing. But now being older, I'm not really open about it. But I say screw what people think and be yourself. Hopefully I can do the same  Ohh and whenever I do dolly photoshoots in public, and all these strangers are looking at me like I'm freaking insane, it feels good to just do what I like Good luck! |

I think I told it to my friends this January. They were like against it, and sometimes when they talk too much about smth they say "Ya, and why you talk everyday about that Cloe and Yasmin ar ethe best from the line but Cloe is so bad" (I always have to laugh when they say that xD). But since they're good friends they are still kind of OK with it. I don't know how your friends are. If they are like normal boys I would tell it, but if they're like "cooler" Hip-Hop boys like my Friends, you should tell it like a joke and then say you really have dolls. And when they ask you 2Why you have dolls, man?" you can say "It's just my thing, you don't have to care" or smth like that.
I think telling it to my friends was a bit easier, since a lot of people people from my elementary school know that I like dolls ;D

People are a lot more accepting than they used to be. It's a shame that you have to hide who you are, so I think telling them might be a good thing to do. I don't think they'll be too judgey about it. Just play it cool and don't try to make it seem like you want their stamp of approval or something, because after all, no one should "approve" wether or not you collect dolls. That's your choice. I wish you all the best, and if you decide to tell them, make sure to tell us how it goes!

I haven't told anyone besides my bestfriend and my mom (sort-of) Personally, If it's your bestfriend, go for it. I'm sure if they are truly your best friend, nothing will change. They will still love you for you and nothing should change that. Good luck. |

I basically agree with what everyone else has said, if they're any real friends, they'll still love you for you and not what you collect Let us all know how it goes if you decide to tell them! |
